The premier micro-cap conference in the Pacific Northwest, the Robins Equity Research Round-Up, is just a few days away. The fourth annual conference will be held at the Portland Shilo Inn Airport Hotel on September 25th and 26th. Captain Greg Woodridge, US Navy Retired – three time commander of the Blue Angels will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday night dinner and will be addressing the audience on “Leadership and “Teambuilding”. Be sure to visit the Catalyst Research website for all the latest updates.

With more than 20 companies presenting, this year’s conference is sure to be the best one to date. The Robins Equity Research Round-Up is quickly becoming a favorite among participating companies, brokers, money managers and private investors. One on ones are available throughout the conference, while the conference itself, which is not muddled by breakout sessions, provides a more intimate approach to the presentations and presenters.

Once again, the conference is free to attendees and meals are provided. The conference is geared toward the professional market, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for non-professional investors and is a great investment learning forum.

Some of the companies that will be presenting during the conference include: ASV Holdings, which is a producer of tracked loaders; CytoDyne, a HIV/Cancer drug developer; Arcimoto produces three-wheeled electric vehicles; H-Source, which operates an “E-Bay” for hospitals and their excess supplies; Hancock Jaffe produces circulatory implants; PCT Limited specializes in facility disinfectants; SG Blocks manufactures CONEX housing and retail spaces; Sigma Labs produces advanced 3-D met equipment; Senestech is a provider of genetic-bases rodenticides; VIVUS, Inc. manufactures ED and Obesity pharmaceuticals; Where Food Comes From is the largest provider of food auditing; Skunk Brothers Spirits is a craft distiller of Moonshine Corn Whiskey, Apple Pie Brandy, bourbon and other adult beverages; and Verdegen, who has developed a unique mosquito repellant dispenser; CoDiagnostics, provides tools for the detection of infectious diseases; WRAP Technologies, develops security products for law enforcement and security personnel; Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment is a media company that produces, distributes and licenses video content; Desert Mountain Energy Corp is an exploratory resource company; Longevity Capital is a “revolutionary” investment firm; Ivis Technologies, Inc., provides a web-hosted solution that helps companies to implement, automate and manage their day-to-day activities; and QYOU Media, Inc., focus on the curation and programming of short-form made-for-Web video content.

Marc Robins, creator of the Robins Equity Research Round-Up, is a long-time analyst, money manager and publisher, as well as a public and private board member.

“My goal is to help all investors do a better job of equity investing and this conference is just one more aspect of the educational process that I created to give back to the industry and community that has been so generous to me.”

Confessions of a 10-Bagger Junkie, Robin’s recently released book, is available HERE and will be available at the conference. Confessions is an autobiographical/textbook on small-cap equity investing. During his 40+ year career as an analyst, Robins ventured into and owned well over 40 ten-bagger equities. His book explains how he was so very lucky, the different kinds of stocks that helped achieve that record (growth stories, value stocks, brand companies and special situations) and how, along the way, he was able to help relay many of the tricks, tools and postulates that he has used as course work when teaching investments, the stock market and portfolio theory at Portland State University during the 1980s and early 1990s.
