There is never a lack of stories when it comes to writing about Northeast Oregon and the Gorge, but there is the lack of time to write them all. With 2016 quickly coming to a close I guess it is time to think about the future and what it may hold.

The amount of support I continue to receive has been very inspiring.

I’d like to thank both Trish Yerges and Marc Robins for writing great articles for me to included within the pages of both Northeast Oregon Business News and The Gorge Business News on a regular basis. I appreciate their view of the world and I always look forward to what stories they capture.

Life is about change. I will soon be having one of those big birthdays…you know the kind, one of them with a zero in the number. I am looking forward to the new year and will actually be glad to put this last year of my youth behind me. Change isn’t always easy, but I think for the most part it is always necessary.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my publications. As always, please feel free to write, or call with questions, suggestions, opinions and story ideas.

Here’s to tucking 2016 into our memory banks and moving forward toward 2017.

Happy Fall.

Sincerly,

Lori
